St. Thomas vs. Turks & Caicos

I am looking into booking a vacation in April at the Wyndham in St. Thomas and Beaches in Turks & Caicos. Does anyone have any information on either
of these properties?

I haven't stayed at either hotel, but I can tell you there is nothing on Provo in the Turks and Caicos except Club Med and a couple of hotels. If you go there, go for the snorkeling/diving, which are fantastic. I stayed at Club Med. No sights to go see on the island. In St. Thomas, however, you can travel around to see the other island in the area (St. John) by ferry, and there is MUCH more there to explore (and buy, GOLD AND GEMS!!!). If you've been to the Caribbean before, Turks & Caicos (which is in the Atlantic, btw) might be a nice alternative. If not, go to St. Thomas. See a travel agent for help on the hotels. There are some all-inclusives on St. Thomas.
