St. martin TR part 5
Thursday we took a day long excursion to Anguilla. We took the Scalwaga II to little bay Anguilla, Sandy Island, and Prickly pear.
Little bay snorkeling was O.K!
Sandy Island was really cool! Your own little sandbar.
Prickly pear was, PARADISE!!! Nice snorkeling, and the best beach a beach could be!
The crew was very nice, and I met a girl who lived in Dawn beach, and I was jealous.
That night, we decided to take a break from all the $$$$$$$ rip offs, and we ate at a little French restaurant in oyster pond called Le escape, or something like that. It was GREAT!! It was nicely priced, the owner was nice!
The lobster ravioli (again) was good, big, and cheap. The mahi mahi was great, and the profiteroles were the best of any of the fancy scmancy places.
Friday we went to Marigot and took the ferry to Anguilla. From blowing point, we took a bus to shoal bay, where we spent the day. The snorkeling was great, the food at uncle Ernies was good and cheap, and the beach, was, well, you know how it was!
That night since we were in Marigot, we eat at one of the Cafes in the Marina. I forgot what it was called. I had another, CROQUE!!
Saturday We went to Baie Rouge. It was hard to fine, but it was VERY NICE. Locals greeted us in the parking lot. We eat at the one NOT called chez. I forgot the name. IT was fine. The beach was great. The waves were big and fun. After Baie Rouge we went to Maho bay to watch planes fly by, and then we went to Pic Paraidis. This was also hard to fine. We went up the wrong way, and ended up at some phone communications tower. We finally found the sign and reached the peak. Great view of the towns, but hard to tell which is which. That night we eat at Lauberge blah blah.

Sunday, we went to Orient. We eat at La playa restaurant in Le hoste. It was THE BEST CROQUE OF THE TRIP!!!!!!! Very good food!
It was just another day at orient.
For the last night, we eat at Rainbow. It was great, another good Filet!!!!!
The owner (the women) chatted with us and was very nice!!! Great last meal.
As you can see, we did a lot of driving!!!
Monday, we spent the day at Dawn beach until 12, when we left for the airport. It was sad!!! We took some liquor home, and also some Guavaberry rum. The flight home stunk. And the 30-degree weather in Dc stunk.
I LOVE St. MARTIN!!!
The mountains, green and lush, and the people, and all it has to offer.
This was rushed, so excuse the errors. (Certain people were pressuring me!)! If you have any questions, please ask. Jeremy.

Might I suggest injecting something of interest or value to others in your TR. Nice 5 part TR of everywhere you ate for a week. Let's try to use the good posts as an example next time.
(The shrimp we eat was GREAT!!!!!! I bought a sweatshirt. It was GREAT!!!!) Loser.

Hi-
Re: Crime and poverty
I did not see or hear about crime all trip. When I was driving around Marigot at about 11 pm, there were some weird kids, but then when I drive around my town at that time, its the same. The island is not that trashy. The mountains are great. There was not a lot of litter. There were some car wrecks, but not many.
Le meridian is great. There is plenty of coke on the island, especially at a hotel like that. However, the french dont beleive in ice!! So that may be a problem. Have a great time!

Oh, Thom, that must be it! Thank you for that impressive global insight! To what do we owe the honor??
Please.
Jeremy is an idiot; he's been proving it on this and other boards for eons. Apparently he has nothing better to do all day than obsess about travel websites. I'd be amazed if he has a job or a spouse -- he probably sits naked in front of his computer all day, his fat, alabaster body oozing last night's grain alcohol.
As for Chas, he's toothless and quite harmless. He spends his day chasing senior citizen discounts and saving money for his penile implant.
