Any good at all? Consistent?

I've honestly never seen anyone surfing in St. Maarten/St. Martin on either side of the island.

If you're looking for good surfing in the Caribbean, I'd consider Rincon in Puerto Rico. Rincon is THE place for surfing in the Csribbean. I don't know of any other place that comes close.

Costa Rica is THE place to surf

No surfing in St. Martin, or anywhere close to it.
