St Maartens WPS Poker Tournament

We will be running a WPS Poker tournament at Maho Beach Resort and I have stayed there before. Does anyone know of good restaurants on the French side as my wife wants to spend a few days over there too?
Any good hotels that you have personally stayed at?

There are a lot of good restaurants on the French side. My suggestion would be to check out the menus posted at the places on Restaurant Row in Grand Case, as well as at Port Royale Marina in Marigot.

What type of hotel are you looking for? Resort, small and charming, pricey, economical?

As far as hotel I would recommend Grand Case Beach Club. Nice beach, great views AND wonderful food nearby.

i would recommend hotel esplanade in grand case for a beautiful place with great service and outstanding views of the sea. you can walk to the restaruants of grand case as well as the beaches. check out reviews on trip advisor.

we love it and returned in february

We loved the Lolo's and especially bistro caribes and the fish pot.

We thought le tastevin was over rated and over priced. California had great pizza and marlins was fun for breakfast.

blue martini was happening too.

Most of the restaurants on the french side will give you a $1=1 euro rate if you pay cash. this results in a big savings.

dutch side takes the dollar over the guilder.

There is a weekly street party in Grand Case called Harmony Nights. It's held every Tuesday from January to April.

Otherwise, most dance clubs are on the Dutch side. Bliss is very popular and is close to Maho and the airport.
