Went to St. Martin last summer. Stayed at Beachside
Villas on Simpson Bay. You do notice the planes and
noise at first, but really after a while you don't.
Plus, you are on the best beach on the island as it
is private! You are in a good location too, as you
are close to stores, restaurants, etc. Feel free
to email me if you have any questions about the island
or anything. I LOVED that trip.

Beachside Villas is where we are thinking of staying. We have 3 children, do you think the 2 bedroom villa is of adequate size? I was glad to hear that the beach is great. I would really appreciate any other comments you have regarding the villas and St. Maarten.

Simpson Bay hasn't exactly got the nicest water around. The boats empty their bilges etc. in that Bay. I personally will not go in the water there. There are lots of beautiful beaches on St. Maarten. I consider that to be the worst after the Lagoon. Sorry. Nettle Bay looks like a great place to take a family vacation. We have a time share at the Sapphire Beach on Cupercoy. It is excellent. If something were available there are Mt. Vernon is a nice spot. There are tons of wonderful places. You'll love the island

MESSAGE: We stayed at the Atrium (Pelican Bay) on the ocean side at Simpson Bay. It is a condo resort with stove, frig, microwave, seperate bedroom, living area, etc. Simply loved it. Our suite overlooked the ocean. It was clean and restaurants nearby within walking distance also two mini markets for buying supplies if you wanted. I'd go back there in a minute.
