St Lucia vs Grenada
Need feedback from those who've been to Grenada and/or St Lucia. Looking for moderate$ EP. Considering Bay Gardens, Marlin Quay, or Harmony Suites in the Rodney Bay area of St Lucia vs. Blue Horizons or Coyaba in the Grand Anse area of Grenada. Looking for lush, green country, rainforest, good snorkeling, beautiful beaches and water, good food and friendly people. Which one should I choose and why?? <BR>Thanks!!!

Been to both St. Lucia and Grenada in last several years. I don't think you can do wrong with either. Only spent a week at each, but the islands are pretty comparable: decent beaches, although the largest have resorts; more remote beaches if you're more adventurous; excellent and accessible rain forests at both islands! The people are great at both islands! Panhandling does exist, but if you're friendly and firm, it's not a big deal. Grenada seems a little bit busier than St. Lucia, but not much. St. Lucian countryside is a bit more rugged, and it's the more picturesque of the two islands. Food is better in Grenada, due to more local produce and spices. We will return to either or both islands. I can't offer advice on any of the accommodations you've listed.
