St. Lucia or Dominican Republic
Which would you recommend? I like white sand beaches and beautiful hotels. I realize both islands have poverty, that really doesnt bother me as long as the resort area is safe and clean.

DR is much much cheaper and much closer. <BR>I do hope to go to St.Lucia one day!

Highy recommend for value the D.R. we are going the 6th time this February.. Punta Cana is pretty hot with resorts and a 20 mile beach...we went to La Romana last year, the Case del Mar...go to....www.debbiesdominicantravel.com. to check out reviews of resorts and areas..
