St. Croix in January
We booked a vacation at the Carambola Beach Resort in January. What restaurants do you recommend - we will have a rental car as we like to explore. Also, any other must see or do??

Absolute must-do is a sailing/snorkeling excursion to Buck Island.
Touring the Cruzan Rum operation is fun if you like that sort of thing.
Can't help on restaurants - we cook our own meals or eat cheap.

Hi Beth,
For dining, Kendrick's is a can't miss. We've also had great meals at Tutto Benne and Duggan's.
Our favoirte rental car excursion was a drive to the eastern most part of the island, Point Udall, which also happens to be the easternmost point in the United States. The views are to die for, especially at sunrise. Also, take a drive up to the rainforests on the western end of the island and visit the St. Croix LEAP. There's a woodshop there where craftsman make furniture and collectibles out of the fallen mahogany trees of the rain forest.
Enjoy your trip!
