Just wanted to update that the trip to Akumal Beach Resort last month was very successful. BF got a really great rate by contacting resort directly and the all-inc made feeding the kids effortless. (not surprisingly, he wasn't crazy about the food). The snorkeling right off the beach was really good although kids had even better time touring the ruins and exploring some caves, all arranged through the resort. The kids still wanted to spend more time in the pool than the ocean, despite the teeming sealife and endless sea turtles, but their experience was really positive and they even did a scuba introduction in pool. Eventually, we hope they'll love the ocean more than a chlorinated resort pool but this was a great start.

Thanks so much for all your help, fishee
