Beautiful resort. The food and service is wonderful - something for everyone's taste. Grand buffets and many theme nights during the week as well. The two pools are very impressive in design and make up for the small beach - beach on the off shore island is much nicer and more private. Gardens are beautiful. There is always something going on day and night - great evening entertainmentin the courtyard each night - mostly local performers. Both piano bar and disco always got a good turnout until the wee hours.<BR><BR>Can not really help much with places to go off the resort but do get over to Atlantis - it is a really huge, incredible resort - so much to see and do there!

Royal Bahamian Sandals was great. My fiance and I were there in 1999. It was the newest of the Sandals then.The spa was nice and we had the couples massage very romantic. Very clean luxurious accomadations and we felt the food was excellent. Pool area can get crowded in the prime season. Pool swim-up bar was great for the very warm late July week we were there. Coctail hour with great hor'devours. I have recommended it to my family and friends.
