Sandals 30% Off Promotion

On the Sandals website, they are offering 30% off of land prices for U.S. citizens on a stay of 3 nights or more. Does anyone know whether this also applies to Canadian residents, or whether there are any other specials for Canadians? Thanks!

I just booked Beaches Royal Plantation for $1800 a person including round trip air fare from Boston, Jr. Suite, and $500 worth of spa credit. That's a bargain, considering about $950 of it is airfare (I'm travelling over a school vacation).

Our airfare is already paid for and booked (thank you air points), but the best rate our travel agent could get us for Halcyon was just over $9,000 Cdn (about $6,000 U.S.) for 14 nights land-only, next June/July, in the lowest class room, and $14,000 Cdn for the best room. You can see why 30% off would really help...

When I call the Sandals office, their reply is "too bad - U.S. residents only".

Any suggestions?

I would cancel and rebook later. Two weeks at an AI for $6,000 is a very poor use of travel dollars. Consider Moorea,Australia, or the south of France. Any would be a better experience than two weeks of Sandals playmakers.

Sap, that is awfully cheap for BRP. What category room did you get? And are sure the spa services are included w/that price? Who did you book with?

Thanks

Yup, I am sure. I think the category of room is the Jr. Honeymoon Suite or something like that. It's two steps up from the Deluxe Oceanfront Room. I booked through Premiere Caribbean Travel. They're here on the web. Penny is the BEST! Unfortunately, due to the circumstances of the world events my flights have been changed many, many times. First we couldn't fly direct, then we could, then we couldn't, now we can. I think part of the discount is also because everything keeps changing and they feel bad.

Who is your travel agent? I can't seem to get a good deal from Sandals? They want $5400 per couple including air to the Sandals in Antigua for 7 nights is this a good deal?
