Rob, there are several restaurants right in the area and the other posters are absolutely right about Johnny Canoe's, order the conch fritters, and a kalik.

There's also the Poop Deck which is close by and the Rock and Roll Cafe.

Have a great time.

Rob, Everyone is right about the Cafe' Johnny Canoe, a bar and grill with good food and decent prices, right at the Nassau Beach Hotel. They usually have a band on weekends.

Last May, the Rock and Roll Cafe' was closed so I don't know what happened with it.

Just down from the Nassau Beach Hotel, past the Marriott and then the Radisson is Dickey Moe's bar. There is good food, typical Bahamian atmosphere and plenty of Kalik beer. It's about a mile walk and a pleasant stroll. Guy playing some Bob Marley tunes only added to the whole thing. Cool place and you can eat inside or outside.
