Only the west coast of Aruba is alee, and the main beaches there are Palm Beach (where you are staying) and Eagle Beach, to the south. Of the two, Eagle beach is less crowded as there are not massive high rise hotels right up next to the beach like at Palm.

the southern end of Palm beach is much quieter, at least until the massive Embassy Suites opens. It might already be open - I don't know.

All beaches in Aruba are public which is one thing I love about Aruba - there is no exclusivitiy.

A bit north of Palm is Arashi beach which is nice for snorkeling right off the beach. It's a tiny beach with very limited parking. A taxi can get you there in no time.

The entire north coast is park, and the coast is rough turf. If you truly want an isolated beach you could trek to the beach at Budui Bay. You'd need a car, and then have to walk about 1mi over rough terrain to get there but you will find nobody else there....
