My husband and I are planning to go to Bermuda for our five year anniversary...we would like to renew our vows there..any info would be appreciated...also, looking for secluded romantic place to stay...prefer to be on or very close to the beach...individual cottage maybe? and very romantic italian restaurants..all suggestions are welcome! Thanks

Try daniels head village. It is an ecotourism place on the water. The cottages are over the water and are tent-like. Very unique. Never went but planned on it.

The Stonington is one spot you might consider.
Good: It's on a very pretty private beach. The hotel is small and well-kept (but expensive).

Bad: It's sort of remote and not close to other restaurants-- but a lot of Bermuda is like that. There are no cottages that I know of.

Possible: If you get the meals-included plan at the Stonington, it has a dine-around feature so that you can go to restaurants at other resort -- and maybe find your romantic Italian spot, although Bermuda is not the place I'd go to for great food.

Thank you all for writing back. We got back from Bermuda a week ago. We chose not to renew our vows and plan to do that on our 10th. We had a wonderful time in Bermuda and would go there again in a second. It was the most beautiful place, so lush and clean and the people are so friendly. We had a very romantic dinner at Coconuts on the Beach and we stayed at the stonington which I would highly recommend. They made our stay very special. I can highly recommend going to Bermuda. We have been to the Bahamas, Aruba, Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, St Martin and Bermuda was by far the most beautiful!
