My husband and I are renewing our vows and celebrating our 20th at Rendezvous is about a month. I have posted at this, and other sites, trying to get feed back for months. I don't believe many americans go to this resort, or atleast not the ones posting. I have been researching Rendezvous as well. Did you know it is basically at the end of a runway for the smaller airport? Also the beach, like all St. Lucia beaches, is a public beach. However, it is close to Castries and gets a lot of townies. We are alittle disappointed about the airport noise but some say there are not many planes landing and the noise of those coming and going is brief. I was hoping for tranquil and private. Thus, we are renting a vehicle to go to other beaches as well. Rendezvous' beach is one of the largest, 2 mi. long. We won't be able to get drinks at the other beaches by putting our flag in the sand like at the resort. I did read somewhere that the food at R is better than most. LeSport is R. sister resort and we can dine there as part of our AI plan. TAO, one of their restaurants, is said to be very good also. All this info. is hearsay since we have never been there. Hope this is helpful. Write and let me know what you have heard so far.

The reason that no Americans go there is because it has become an "unofficial" gay and lesbian resort. There are rampant rumors about loclas over-running parties and carrying off weak and small guests, to be held as slaves for several days.

IN YOUR DREAMS!!!
Just grow up.I'm looking for legitimate comments not your junk ginny!!!!
Thanks for that Stacey, yes we were aware that it was close to the airport.Thats not a problem as I work in an airport and we live on a small island so we're quite used to it.
Thanks for the hit re Le Sport,we knew it was the sister hotel but not that you could eat there.
One of my other halfs collegues has been there and said she'd go back tomorrow if she had the chance.
Beaches........not too worried we have 26 beaches over here...
but thanks anyway

Exactly how can a Couples Only Resort be Gay and Lesbian? Get a Life.
