Question about St. John Villa
Has anyone ever stayed in Argonauta through Vacation Vistas? I've seen some positive comments about Lisa Durgin and Vistas in other posts including positive comments about Splendore.
I'm staying in Argonauta in a few months and am really looking forward to it. I was just wondering if anyone else had any experience with the property. Thanks!
This will be my second trip to St. John. I stayed at Gallows Point before and really enjoyed it!

Hey Dustin, you should really enjoy Gallows. We had a lower level ocean view when we stayed there. Having an ocean view is the key at Gallows IMHO because the harbor views overlook Cruz Bay, which can be noisy sometimes. With the Ocean view, you can see St. Thomas at sunset, and the sunsets will KNOCK your socks off. I loved the big showers, the beautiful grounds, and the "concierge" on site can book you almost anything you want to do. They do all the calling and scheduling, all you do is show up!
Every night, we'd walk into town (it's very close) and have dinner and soak up the atmosphere. The snorkeling off the beach at Gallows is nice, but you'll find better elsewhere. Take a trip to the BVI's or a day sail to different snorkeling sites.
You should have a great time!

Dustin - You will have a great time at Gallows but I don't understand why you don't know which unit you will be in. We picked ours out of a brochure. The restaurant "Ellingtons" is fabulous! Hopefully they will have the scallops in cheese sauce for appetizers when you are there. I happen to like the harbor view myself. The first time I saw the dolphins swimming in the harbor I was sure it was "jaws". Have a great time. Jeannette
