Puerto Rico Vacation
What's going on here... I posted this message but it omitted my text... well here it is again.

My husband and I are planning our next caribbean vacation. We've been to Jamaica and Cayman Islands. We are considering Puerto Rico because of what we like to do and plus it's in the caribbean;

- golf, deep sea fish, snorkelling/catamaran trips, nice restaurants with an ocean view, beaches, and a little diving.

Will Puerto Rico be a good spot to vacation based on our criteria???

I appreciate all input & recommendations, good or bad... thank you!!!

Lori

Do a search on Puerto Rico, or Vieques, or Boqueron -- I posted some messages about my 10 days there a year ago -- It is a fabulous destination. Visit www.discoverpuertorico.com or www.enchantedisland.com. And there are several of us who've posted numerous suggestions -- you'll find everything from sophisticated night life to country-side, laid-back simplicity.

Lori, I totally agree with Diane. Just wanted to suggest that you phone the PR Dept. of Tourism in any big city (N.Y.-L.A.) (800-555-1212 info) and they will quickly send you a beautiful magazine that's very informative. Also check out prtourism.com .You can e-mail me for more info.

Lori,
The hosted forum is on this site. Every month a different location is selected and you can ask questions about the location, which are answered by an expert. If you go to forums home and scroll down a little, you'll see "hosted forums." You can click onto past hosted forums and it will show you all of the questions and answers (you can't ask new questions). There were some good discussions on Puerto Rico. I think you'll find it helpful.
