Prescription Snorkel Masks in St. Thomas?

Based in Marriott on St. T next month, and hoping I can find a prescription-lens snorkel mask to rent. Hawaii had shops catering to the nearsighted, and I'm hoping to be lucky on St. T. Any suggestions?

I purchased prescription goggles on-line in 2005 when we went to St. Thomas at http://www.aquagoggles.com/

They were $20 then and I see they are now on clearance for $13.95. They have a new product now, which is $23.95. Still a very good price. I love the ones I bought. They work well and I have used them several times.

hi philly, kvr's goggles look good for swimming, but not sure how you could attach a snorkel. i can safely say there are not rentable masks on st. thomas. we went recently for a wedding. the bride worked in a dive shop on island. her father can't see a thing, but wanted to snorkel. if the masks had been available jamie would have gotten him one for sure. what a good idea though...
possibly you can find a dive shop at home that has the new drop in lenses - which are just what they sound like - and less than buying the whole mask.
your hotel has one of the most delightful restaurants i've been to. havana blue. beautiful dining room, nice service and outstanding food. for italian make a reservation at tony romano's which is out near coki beach.
try snorkeling at secret harbour beach or lindquist out to the right. sugar bay has good snorkeling as well off to the right of their beach. the castaway girl out of havensight does a nice snorkel trip.

The free snorkel I received from subscribing to Caribbean Life Magazine, which I've have for several years, clips right onto the strap of the googles. Any snorkel will clip to the goggles strap. I have several pictures on our picture page of me snorkleing with the mask if your interested. Here's a few:

You will need a nose clip to snorkel since the googles don't cover your nose like a mask does.
