Abaco parrots nest in the ground.

Ruth.....YOU ARE RIGHT!!! The Bahama Parrot on Abaco nests in limestone holes in the ground. There are very few holes in Abaco's trees. Still, they need pine forests to live on, and if you ever drive south from Marsh Harbor on the Great Abaco Highway(a bumby road of limestone and sand) you will see thousands of acres of caribbean pines. Another Bahama Parrot lives on Great Inagua, but they nest in trees. Great job, Ruth!!! Bahama Trivial Pursuit No. 5 is in the making.
