One question:

(1) What is it about these parrots, regarding their nesting habits, that make them one of the most unique parrots in all the world?

A correct answer on this question will automatically get you a job at the Smithsonian Institution as a research ornithologist. Ruth.....YOU ARE RIGHT!!! The Bahama Parrot on Abaco nests in limestone holes in the ground. There are very few holes in Abaco's trees. Still, they need pine forests to live on, and if you ever drive south from Marsh Harbor on the Great Abaco Highway(a bumby road of limestone and sand) you will see thousands of acres of caribbean pines. Another Bahama Parrot lives on Great Inagua, but they nest in trees. Great job, Ruth!!! Bahama Trivial Pursuit No. 5 is in the making. Oh, second runner up is Sharon, for the "most intelligent guessor" award. Robert
