Karen:

Maisonette was just recently awarded the 5 star rating for an unprecedented 37 years in a row! Great place, especially the moose, but I can only afford (calorie and money wise) to eat there infrequently.

My dad retired from Proctor and God but I don't work for them. I work for the Federal Reserve Bank.

We just booked a week at PSV in April and cannot wait to go! My questions: how do you dress for dinner? I know in Anguilla and other islands we just wore shorts! Same at PSV?
Also, read about cottage 18. Is it quiet and secluded and surrounded by water? That is what we like! Which are the quietest ones by the beach?
Thanx!

Ronnie:

Shorts are fine and very common. Some people dressed up a little more but it really is a very relaxed place.

Cottage 18 has direct access to a beach about 400 feet long. There are a couple of other cottages that also have easy access to it but in general there weren't many people there at a time. There are only 2 huts with hammocks on this beach.

We stayed in cottage 19. It is the only one with an outdoor shower because it has wooden steps that lead to its own little beach (about 15 feet) and hut with hammock. This beach faces the harbor and dock and so is not private.

There is so much foliage that all the cottages offer privacy, but, it also reduces the wind. We were there in August and it got almost unbearably hot, even at night. Other folks that stayed in cottage 3 said that the wind almost blew them away sometimes.

Have a great time and report back what you think of the place.

Say hello to Harvey for me.
I have pictures that I took of our trip to PSV last August. If anyone is interested in seeing them I'll be happy to email them to you. Sorry, I haven't gotten into the web stuff enough yet to have my own website to post them on.
