NYC to ARUBA flights Xmas Week

There seems to be very few flights going from NY to Aruba this year. Does anyone know if there will be more flights opened up? The prices for the available flights are way to high.
Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would ask on arubabb.com Everything you ever wanted to know about Aruba.

You're going to pay a premium to go that week. More flights may open up, but I doubt they'll be much cheaper. Can you go a week or two before XMas or a week or two after New Year's?

No can only go that week. Thats when we have time off. Waiting for some more flights to open up. Unusually limited amount of flights for such a peak time.

Aruba flights are prime at that time

crowded warmest water in Carib in winter

Hyatt Palm Eagle Beach my fav there but.

Personally to save might consider a more scenic less deserty

island with easier cheaper Xmas flights many options.

St. John St. Lucia 2 of my favs DR puntACANA.COM

aa.com spirit.com great values to various Carib destinations.

luxurylink.com great packages also perhaps Jamaica

roundhill.com rockhousehotel.com best cheaper for me

Also less crowded lots prettier.

I am flying out of Bradley International in CT and for 2 adult, 1 stop round trip tickets, it came to just over $2000. I'm assuming the price will only increase from now on. I would not wait to book.

Seems this is an old post (from early July) and flights are now reasonable on Kayak ( $700 for Christmas week ).

I agree with sassy_cat and disagree with BSA022. Prices for flights to Aruba will almost certainly go DOWN before they go up. If the round-trip is $700 now, that's about as good as you can expect for Christmas week.
