NO CHILDREN

My husband and I will be going away without our children. I am trying to find a place that either does not allow children or has very few. I am traveling from NY and don't want to go to far. I have been to a few Sandals Resorts and Swept Away in Jamaica. Any suggestions? I am stuck as to where to go. We need advice!!! Thank You

Have you considered Mexico? As I recall
from reading various magazines and
travel articles, Cancun and Cozumel
has several resorts that do not allow
anyone under 16, a few do not allow
anyone under 18, and couples only.
I suggest you go to your travel agent--
Apple Vacations has a nice catalogue of
resorts that indicate these types of
resorts, plus your TA would know this
kind of information.

JanGail

Try Puerto Rico! I'd recommend Inn on the Blue Horizon for a few nights/days (rent a jeep) on Vieques Island. Arrange to swim in the bioluminescent bay - www.biobay.com then do some time on the "big island." There is a lot to recommend Puerto Rico -- whether you want action in San Juan, or to explore other areas of the island.

Depends on when you are going and what price range you are looking at. I have heard that Curtain Bluff on Antigua is exquisite, and there are times during the year when kids are not permitted. I don't think you'd be disappointed. we went to Antigua on our honeymoon 8 years ago and thought it was very nice.
