I would think that your hotel could at least refer you to a transporter. There is a fellow named Patrick that runs a shuttle bus from the airport to Negril. I've seen his name on a website, so... My hotel has someone that they use for their guests, which runs about $20 each way. I used it a couple of years ago and it went well. Check on the websites and asked your hotel if they can provide a couple of resources. Sorry, don't know about the scooter rentals. Have a great time, K

On the airport transfer check with Chef Thompson at www.cheftours.5u.com or sala kerr at talkofthetownnegril.com . If you are coming by yourself, you may do better with JUTA which charges $20pp, buit if htere are 2+ of you, the above will give you a personalized drive with whatever stops you want ot make, and will give you tips for getting around, etc.
For scooters I like Jah B on the beach road and Tyke's or Banmark on the cliff road. Be careful
