Need your recommendations, Braco or Couples Negril

Planning a July vacation, we have reduced choices to Braco or Couples Negril. Any information to help us with the final selection would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Valerie,
I went to Grand Lido Braco last July and loved it. It was my first time traveling to Jamaica. The people were very friendly and the resort was very nice as well. We did the Super Club Surprise and ended up on this resort. It was a relaxing vacation. I'm checking out Couples and Wydnam in Jamaica for July also. I haven't received any responses yet. Good luck!

Have been to both in the past few months. Braco in July should have great weather with the ever present breezes having a pleasant cooling effect. The suites on the C/O side are exceptional. The textile side ocean front acceptable, garden view sub standard location. Food service and restaurants are very similar and very good. Couples Negril is a beautiful property and a very relaxed ambiance.Rooms are very good. The catamaran cruise and trip to the cliffs were a great way to see more of the area. The beach at Negril was much better for walking and running.CN is next to the new Riu Tropical Bay which opened last week. This is a 490 room mass tourism type resort with a less defined cliental than the couples atmosphere currently present. This resort will definitely have an impact on the quiet and private atmosphere of CN and its beachfront. At this point I would favor Braco for July if you opted for the ocean front suite and because of the certainty of privacy. The staff at both resorts were friendly and dedicated to service.

Haven't been to Couples Negril, but have stayed at Braco, the first season they opened. I loved it and will definitely be back. If you want the feeling of a caribbean village, charming rooms, wonderful staff and service and activities, this is your place. We loved Manny's Jerk Pit right off the beach for a quick snack or two, day or night. This place will be in our hearts forever.
