Need diving for one day in caymens

I will be on a cruise ship end of July with one day in Grand Caymens--myself and another want to go scuba diving with a reputable dive company. I have never had a good dive booked through the cruise ship before, that's another story so ,we'd like some recommendations for good dive companies there, preferably with web address. Thanks,Laura

Try Rob at Aqua Adventures. He's great, small operation (no cattle boats) and great service. www.caymaniac.com/aqua

The name of the island is GRAND CAYMAN. The name of the country is CAYMAN ISLANDS. PLEASE get it right.

Hi, besides investigating just the dive operation, (all are pretty great), I would suggest that another question should be pondered ~ depending on your dive experience ~ you would also want to decide what dive site you want to hit. I imagine you will do a 1/2 day dive which will allow you 2 in the a.m. Perhaps you may make arrangements w/a dive shop ahead of time. Also if you can, do a dive refresher at home before you go (an a.m. at the pool) if you don't dive often, always a good idea ~ and don't forget to take your certification cards! Have fun! MP

Laura:
When I was researching Cayman there was a great book in Barnes and Nobles and I am sure other book stores. It was on the dive sites of Cayman and gave you listing and schedules of the companies. It also explained all the dive sites which the previous post recommended. Most will provide transportation and are really great.
I snorkeled with the oldest co. on Cayman and they where great. Bob's Soto's. Super nice and pretty cheap.

Good Luck
Juli

Thanks everyone , Last time that I dived in Grand Cayman, was 1993 and it was with Bob Soto's dive shop. I found his dive shop online and have sent him an email, waiting for his reply.
