Hi leeloo -
I stayed on the second floor - economy room with a Queen Bed. The room had no view, but it had a comfortable bed, mini-fridge, safe, iron, and flat screen TV. *No hairdryer, but they might have had one at front desk.
The second floor has a nice balcony (overlooking the restaurant and beach) which was literally 4 feet from my door - very nice to sit out there and sip my pina colada at night.
Kesalta is kind of like a restaurant - actually it's more like a cafeteria-style set up. It has several different counters and you go up and order your food, then sit anywhere. They have counters with cheap sandwiches, good breakfast items, sodas, chips, and amazing pastries and coffee. It's got the feel of a college cafeteria - lots of locals hang out there. You can't miss it - everyone knows Kesalta (N.B. Walgreen's is right around the corner).
Cheers - M

I don't know if I have ever read the Caribbean forum before, but this was one of the first threads I read here. I agree with everyone - what a funny and interesting trip report. How did you feel when you went back to work after this sort of vacation, in contrast to a run-around-all-the-time European vacation?

Thx Will Travel - Well, with PR I was SO relaxed from the trip that I was actually READY to go back to work when it came time to do so. I was rested and felt more focused at work when I got back. Which I guess is kind of the point.
By contrast, when I go to Europe I NEVER want to come home or go back to work (no matter how much I've run myself ragged)! I just love it too much to leave.
I'm actually heading off to Europe at the end of the month, so I'll be sure to record how I feel this time around and how it compares to my Carribean vacation. The study continues
Cheers, M
