Hey there

I was at the LTI this past July...It is a beautiful resort! It is very bright and elegant looking --they use a lot of the darker woods (like in the lobby) so it gives a rich look to it! The pool area is very nice and spacious. The rooms are beautiful and spacious as well! The beach area is very nice (but it is not as wide as some of the other parts in Varadero) swimming is pretty good too...the beach bar is great as well --nice to sit and have a drink and over look the ocean...as well they have a big spiral staircase where you can go to the top and get an amazing panoramic view of the ocean!!!
The food was excellent too...good variety and the ala carte dining was great too!
They have a large open air theatre where they have the nightly entertainment, and I believe there was a disco as well (not sure though).

I am sure you will have a great time at the resort!!
Cheers!
I am sure this is a dumb ??? and someone will certainly be angry for asking BUT to get to the point, I suppose these are new resorts? This is a new travel destination? I am wondering why one can't obtain these places from the Expedia vacation packages? I don't see any listed. Thanks.
Hi Charlotte:

Check out this link....

http://www.1click2cuba.com

There are two LTI Resorts listed as being in Varadero. Not sure if either of these is yours. There are some photos of each of them. Also if you follow some of the many other links listed, you can find out some neat stuff.

Ast to what to do in Varadero. If you read through many of the discussion threads in the Cuba section of this Fodor's site, you will find most of your answers. There is lots to do besides just sitting on the beach or staying at your resort. Get out and explore some.

My personal suggestion is a day trip to Havana or Trinidad. Also you could do the Bay of Pigs etc.

Have fun and enjoy yourself.

Steve
