Loved St. John, where next?

My daughter and I just got back from St.John and are already dreaming of our 2003 trip. Main interests are snorkeling, uncrowded beaches, exploring the island, etc. Not interested in shopping, nightlife, casinos, etc. Have been to GC;enjoyed snorkeling there, but St. John was much prettier island. One thing I liked about both places was that there are trees along the beach, for shade.(I don't like to "bake")Any suggestions?

You must go to Virgin Gorda..stay the the Bitter End Yaght Club...you will love it....another favorite of mine is Palm Island in the Grenandines....Barbados is very nice...stay at the Bougianvillia...

Ditto on Virgin Gorda or add Tortola. The BVI's are even nicer than the USVI! Or you could try Tortola.

The Nail Bay Resort in Virgin Gorda is situated on a beautiful stretch of beach with hills--very scenic.

You can't go wrong with BVI.

While Virgin Gorda and Tortola are both very nice islands, their beaches, nor the numbers of them, do not compare to St. John. Just food for thought!
