Looking for info on St. Martin

My husband and I spent out honeymoon on the French side of St. Martin. We are about to celebrate our 25th anniversary and would like to return there. I have not been able to find any info on Hotel Mont Vernon which is where we stayed. Any suggestions for other places to stay there would be greatly appreciated. Also, best time of the year to go.

Mont Vernon Hotel has been permanently closed for quite some time.

Late August through the end of October is peak hurricane season and while the odds of a major storm hitting the island during any given week in that time period are small or still can be a risk. The rest of the year is fine weather wise. Mid-December through Easter is high season so you can expect highest room rates of the year.

Hi, we also enjoy the French side. Look at villa rentals in Orient Village, not too far from the old Mt Vernon site. There are a ton of options on vrbo or airbnb. Easy access to great restaurants in Orient Village, or Grand Case if you have a car. There are some wonderful beach bars/clubs along Orient Bay.

Thanks Elle, took out our honeymoon photos out and remember that area very well. Great idea, thank you so much for the suggestions. We usually have a car just about anywhere we go. My husband would be lost without it!
