I'm pregnant and want a little pampering before life changes completely. so, I am looking for a luxurious resort/hotel in the carribbean for $500 or under a night. Don't like the mega-resorts. Looking for something intimate and romantic. Thanks!

Does the $500 include your meals too or just lodging? Also, how important is it that the resort be located on a beautiful beach or on a lovely tropical island? Many of the islands with the best beaches, such as Anguilla, the Cayman Islands, Aruba, and the Turks and Caicos, are not particularly lush islands. And many truly gorgeous islands like St. Lucia and Dominica are not noted for their fine bathing beaches. Lastly, how important is it for you that you can reach your destination on a non-stop flight? Many islands, such as Nevis, Grenada, St. Barths, and Anguilla, typically require at least one connecting flight or ferry ride to reach the island.

A beautiful beach is pretty important. And we can pay about $50 a night for lodging alone. Any ideas?
