LeSport has so many activities it is often difficult to decide what to do. More activities than I have ever found at any other resort--including Club Med. And not to mention the scheduled spa treatments.
Off the top of my head, they have:
golf
aerobics of all kinds
yoga
volleyball
fencing
archery
personal training
scuba
calypso dancing
mixology
tennis
morning walks and hikes
organized bike rides
Additionally, there are many great excursions in St. Lucia--but it is hard to tear yourself from the LeSport property.
If you have further questions, please ask. We have been there twice, and have sent other friends there who have also loved it. The service at LeSport is incredible and they are a class operation.

We just got back from LeSport on our honeymoon. We really liked it too. It's not exactly what I thought it'd be (I was expecting more like 4 Seasons type rooms at those prices, and they were anything but! And the spa is not really what you think of, or what I think of, when I think of a spa. It's just this big outside area where they have a bunch of small closed door rooms and you walk into one of the rooms and get your treatment for 20-35 minutes, depending on what it is and then you leave -- no big robes, or food or drink available there or just other general pampering, you know?.) But the activities are great, the people are even better -- both the tourists and the employees!! the piano bar is a must! you meet the funnest people from all around the world! and the all inclusive is wonderful (so many beach activities for free and excellent food!!! we were surprised by how good the food is! you must try the TAO restaurant where you have to make reservations 48 hours in advance) St. Lucia in general was a wonderful island. The people were great, it's one of the most beautiful islands in the world and so much to do or if you want to do nothing (like we did!) it's great for that too. Hope that helps!

Lara -
Noticed that you've been to Le Sport twice. I will be staying there for six days in early May for our honeymoon (after spending 3 days at Ladera). What activities do you recommend/not recommend? Are some restaraunts better than others on the resort? Are there activities off the resort that you would recommend? We're both in our low-30's. Thanks for any advice. -- Alex

Hello, Alex:
I have LeSport trip reports posted at www.caribtravelnews.com. Go to the Island Index.
My favorite activity at the resort was the morning walks. It is really hard to get up that early, but you learn a lot about the local area and I enjoyed working up a sweat before breakfast begins.
Please post a trip report when you return, and have fun!

I had planned a trip to this resort for early June '99 and it was cancelled because they closed off the resort for renovations...I am curious what effect the renovations have had on the rooms? I understand they were a little worn out before, how are they now?

Alex - you must try the bodyscrub treatment it is wonderful. Also, the aromatherapy and hair/scalp treatment. You'll really be pampered. Make ressies for TAO the food is presented in artistic ways (we called it big food) it always seemed tall. The watersports are fun...banana boat & go for a sail. Snorkeling was ok from shore. Enjoy and have a wonderful honeymoon.
