Ladies-waterproof makeup? Help!

The other forums don't get as much traffic so I thought I would post this here. Now don't be mean, but I would like to know if anyone has discovered a good mascara, eyeliner, undereye concealer or shadow that is waterproof. I know most people I see out there are without makeup & don't need it but I feel a little better with just a touch of mascara or concealer so I won't scare the fish away! Any one have any reccommendations?

For eyeliner, try Revlon Colorstay.

Got to agree with Cover Girl - cheap and does the trick.

Otherwise, Estee Lauder puts out a clear mascara type thing that goes over your regular mascara to make it water proof - does work.

Thanks you guys! I appreciate it. Better to ask than buy a bunch of stuff that doesn't work as advertised!

Okay, I snorkel and I have done 12 triathlons, 2 marathons and 20 other distance races in.....Maybelline Ultralash! It is the best non-smudge mascara EVER, Always go black. The best lipstick is the new Max Factor Lipfinity. I like Almay and Revlon's colors better, but I tell you this stuff will stay on for 3 days. I don't like the waterproof foundation- it stings my eyes snorkeling. Buy a couple "sample" all-in-one foundations and apply before and after swimming.Always wear a sports sunscreen on your face, too, as they don't burn your eyes!

Hi Girls!
If you want a foundation that will not move from your face on land, try Estee Lauder's Maximum Cover. (It does get all over the face mask if you snorkel, but in town on those 90+ days, it is not going anywhere!)

Hi Girls, Sande!

My wife has been using this for years and truly loves it. Its called PinkySpit, and It comes in a long Pink Tube, about 9” long, doesn’t take long to apply, and is sticky enough to last the entire day. And yes, its also great for those active gals that like to
snorkel and are into triathlons and marathons. Now you can't order this from the stores. Its more of a mail order deal. I have plenty that I would be willing to sell you. Just E-mail me and I will jack some off to you fedEx, just in time for your vacation.

CubanaBoy
[email protected]
CubanaBoy, I thought I came up with "spooge". Ever heard of the band Idiot Spooge. I think that is a better name for your product.

hi, sande,
Wow, I never knew so many good waterproof makeup products existed. My pick: L'Oreal "Splash-Out" mascara - not only is it waterproof, it also didn't irritate my eyes.
ja

Would you consider getting your lashes 'tinted' in a salon just before you go? It takes about 20 minuts, is pain-free, not expensive, and would last for at least 2 weeks. No worries with it running or smudging. Can put mascara on top for a more glam night time look.

Great idea with the lash tinting. Thanks. I appreciate the input you guys. You always see these movie stars crying at award shows or in films or swimming & their eye makeup doesn't budge, so I wondered what in the heck do they use! My husband thinks I'm silly to bother but heah, it makes me feel a bit better! I'm past 18 & need a little help. Thanks!
