We didn't find it very hot during the day either for our specific dates though it did get hotter toward the end of our stay. It rained a couple of times and was almost too cool to use our plunge pool which didn't get any sun during the day.

I shouldn't call it a plunge pool because it's no longer a plunge pool when you can do laps

Hi everyone.

We stayed at Jade in Jan 2008 and 2009 just for one night. I am going back in Jan 2010 for a special birthday and staying three nights. The cost is going to be the same as two week in a normal place in St Lucia. I dont care. I am really looking forward to it. The place is exceptional.

I also love Ti Kaye, Auberge Seraphine, Windjammer, The Landings and East Winds but for very different reasons.

Re the broken toe, I have done worse than that in St Lucia but still lived to tell the tale, and enjoyed the holiday! It is a great place.

Patty- we were there at the same time! We were there May 16-23. I agree - I was plesantly surprised that we had no bugs after all the "warning" reviews I read. Love JM and can't wait to go back!

To the point about May being the "hottest time of the year" I was shocked to hear that too - but all the staff at JM kept saying that. Maybe I misunderstood and they were commenting that it was shockingly hot for May. Either way, it was hot, but bearable.

gprybs,
Makes sense you would've found it hot as it started to get progressively hotter during our stay. We were one of the couples celebrating our anniversary on the 18th at the Jade restaurant if you were there that night. There seemed to be so many celebrations going on though. I saw at least 3 cakes being brought out that night!

Patty - that is too funny! We ate there that night, but unfortunately I don't recall any cakes! We did get a cake of our own later that week though..very thoughtful!
