We stayed at the Atlantis Resort last year (July) and stayed in the least expensive tower-the Beach Tower. It was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the others. We had an awesome room with a view of the pool/lagoon and partial ocean view. We paid about $150 a night but I think the rates have gone up to about $200. There is lots for kids to do and an activity desk for extra ideas. If you don't want to leave the resort you might want to do one of the plans. Only a few restaurants are within walking distance outside of the resort. Most restaurants you may hear about are a taxi ride away and we were not impressed with any restaurants in town. Next time we will probably go for the meal plan. Have Fun!!

I've noticed a fair amount of people on this site mention the Comfort Suites. Is it true if you stay at the Comfort Suites you can use of all the emenities at Atlantis? Secondly, does anyone have first hand knowledge as to which rooms are bigger Comfort Suites vs. Atlantis?

Hi David, <BR> If you stay at Comfort Suites you can use all of Atantis facilities. However, when we looked into packages, the difference in price did not make it worth the inconvenience of staying at Comfort Suites. If you're on the beach and need to go back to your room for something, it's WAY more convenient to be staying at the ATlantis. Also, the Bahamas is famous for afternoon showers. If the rain starts and you're staying right there at ATlanitis, it makes life a lot easier. Check into Apple vacations and GoGo tours packages. You'll find that Atlantis (especially Beach Towers) is not much more and in some cases LESS than the Comfort Suites.
