Just got back from Grand Cayman. We stayed at the Westin, which I think is the best on the Island. Diving is pretty good, I don't think it's top 3 in the World though. Skip the dives on the west side (off 7 mile beach) and go Noth Wall and East End. Great visibility, great walls, few fish... Stingray city: hmmm, not bad. Do it before it gets stopped: someone is going to get hurt there, mark my words. If you do go, watch before you feed, so you get how to do it. My wife got a "hickey" from a stingray that will leave a bruse for weeks. So did 2 other people on the boat. They're all experienced divers, no screw ups, you just get hickeyed. Also, there were 4 other injuries: the yellow fin snapper earn their name: all kinds of bites including the dive master! I can't wait for sharks to join in on the action! <BR>But, overall, a great vacation. Just bring your gold card. <BR> <BR>Also: Note that the Holliday Inn is torn down: a Ritz Carlton is going to replace it. If you're staying for more than 5 days, rent a car. Taxi's are expensive (and I'm from New York City). <BR>
