Island recommendation
My wife and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and would like to go somewhere that has great snorkeling, reasonable to cheap accommodations (less than 2k for 5-7 days), local culture, and scenic, of course! We prefer places that are off of the beaten path, too.
Planning to travel mid to late July.
Im sure this question has been asked a million times, but there's so much info out there, I was hoping for quick help.
Thanks!

It would really help if you have a dollar range for your accommodation budget - the term "reasonable to cheap" is somewhat meaningless without a point of reference.
In the Caribbean " cheap" generally gets you a room in a "locally owned" guest house somewhere in town or outlying village. What type of accommodations are you expecting?
Destinations with very good snorkeling that are more budget friendly include Belize, Roatan, Cozumel and perhaps Bonaire.

Ahh, so you did!
For that price in July take a look at Mango Bay or Fisher's Cove on Virgin Gorda - the island has lots of very good to excellent snorkeling - a great deal of which is "walk-in" from its many beaches. Plus lots of additional sites you can access by boat. FYI - Mango Bay Resort is on one of the best "snorkeling beaches" on Virgin Gorda.
