It sound like a promotion for a Marriott time share. It all depends on where it is, what not included and what you are willing to tolorate. To answer you question more directly, I know of no quality resort location in the Caribbean that you can get a place for $125 per night including tax and service. It depends what you seek.

To the best of my knowlege, the Marriott Ocean Club doesn't offer timeshare (this may have changed since the last time I checked), but, even if they do, and this is a promotion, it's worth it. All you have to do is listen to them tell you about timeshare, and if you want it, get it, if not, just tell them. It's no big deal. I've been to several of these, and I've always find them to be informative, and the discount that you get for attending makes it worth while. I haven't bought at all the presentations, but, I admit, I do own 2 timeshares now. This, for me, makes it much more affordable to travel to exotic destinations. So, to answer your question, I would say that $125 a night is a great deal. The Mariott here in St. Thomas doesn't have a room during Jan-May for less than $300. Do the math. Sounds like a good deal to me.

That is an excellent price, this is a luxurious resort. They are attached to the hotel and are mini condos. I loved it. They have a full kitchen with brand new appliances, living room with a big tv, big bathroom, and the master bedroom has a beautiful big balcony and a jacuzzi tub. This is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. I would definitely go back and for that price, I will go back. How did you get the rate $125/night?
