Is there foreign transaction fee for credit cards in Provo?

I'm slightly confused about status of T & C which I thought was part of British commonwealth. Do I need to use my Capital One CC (no foreign transaction fee) or can I use any credit card I want and not get hit with fees?

Any time you leave the country, even if US currency or not, charges the transaction fee, usually 3%.

Use Capital One to avoid, or call your CC they'll tell you.

Visa no foreign exchange transaction fee

Almost all the others fees

except for Discover not taken widely

Happy Journey,

Yes on my Citi Mastercard.

and Yes on AMEX too, although I believe they fold the fee into the transaction itself so you can't really tell.

Enjoy Provo!

Thx, i have a Capital One to use when traveling internationally for no fees. I was just getting confused whether I'd need it here because the currency doesn't seem to be in anything but USD in Provo and Grand Turk. But sounds like whenever I'm outside of a U.S. territory, I should count on using my Capital One, thanks!
