How to get from Biras Creek to St. Thomas airport
Hello,
we will be staying in Biras Creek (Virgin Gorda). I wanted nonstop flights so we got the following flights: nonstop NYC - San Juan, few nights in San Juan, nonstop short flight San Juan - Tortola.
On the way back we have 2:39 pm nonstop flight from St. Thomas to NYC.
So what is the best way to get to St, Thomas from Biras Creek? Water Taxi looks very expensive but convenient. I also saw somewhere helicopter website but I cannot find it again.
How long does it take by ferry from Biras-Tortola-St. Thomas-taxi-airport.
thank you.

Biras to St. Thomas (and vice versa) can be a nightmare of taxis and ferries. The helicopter service website is http://www.helicoptersbvi.com/ and I'd get a hold of them - it would be your easiest, best way regardless of cost!
Otherwise, you'll need to check with Speedy's Ferries and see what time they go to St. Thomas (schedule varies by the day).

thank you, that was the website I was looking for however private water taxi can be better and more pleasant. My husband has pacemaker and with pacemaker helicpter rides not recommended. But it can be as last resort.

thank you scuba mom.
Helicopter is $1275 for two. Yukes!
Private water tax from Biras to Red Hook is $450 plus taxi to STT from red hook approx $50, Plus There is an additional $20pp Customs and immigration fee
I finally solved my problem by booking a flight on Air St. Thomas from VIJ to STT, 10 min flight for $91.30 per person one way. We are getting free transfer from Biras to Virgin gorda airport and then we arrive directly to St. Thomas airport. 9-seater plane, but only 10 mins.
thank you for your help!
