How is Breezes Superclubs?

I'm wondering how Breezes Superclubs rates with everyone. They are offering an all- inclusive plan for $963. But I'm more so concerned about if the property looks good and the food. Also it's relation to everything else as far as distance?

I think overall they are a good deal. But it depends on which one you are talking about? There are at least 5 in Jamaica. Could you narrow it down for us?

I stayed at Breezes Bahamas last year around May, and it was fantastic!!!

But of course, whether you will like it or not depends on what you are looking for in a holiday. Do you want a party atmosphere, or a quiet getaway? If you want peace and quiet, then this is not where you want to be. Superclub Breezes is definitely a party place. There's so many things you can do, and so many activities, like toga parties, karaoke, mr. and ms. bikini contests. Also a huge variety of water sports (kayak, sailing, mini scuba lesson, etc.).

Regarding your concerns:
Rooms and food are 4-star.
I won't say the rooms are elegant, but they are up to north american standards. Comfortable and clean, with CD player, hair drier, cable (w/ Playboy channel), coffee maker, etc.

The property is beautiful, clean and well maintained.

As for food, you will never be sick of a certain kind of food as they serve different foods every day! If you're not a food connoisseur/critic, then you will find their buffet stellar.
There is also an outdoor grill by the pool/beach that is open for most of the day, and they serve hotdogs, burgers, nachos, all kinds of north american outdoor grill foods. There is also an ala carte restaurant, which is also free (or included in the price), but you have to make reservations.

Beer is local only though. No heinies, buds, labatts.

10-15 min. drive to the airport.
Walking distance to Casino.
Bus/biking distance to town. Their public transportation looks like a cross between a bus and a minivan, called "Jitney", it's $1.50 for a one-way trip. The hotel should be able to provide you with more information.

Make sure you try parasailing!!! It's $50 for one sail, but it's worth the money.
Hope this helps. If you have any more questions, e-mail me. i'd be willing to elaborate on my trip details

Breezes is a good choice for lots of casual fun. Nothing fancy, nice and clean. Always something going on at the pool. Rock climbing wall and learn to do the trapez.
The rooms are simple, how much are you going to be there, they are clean.
The food is good, try the crab salad at the beach grill. Nothing beats that crab salad on the beach mid afternoon!
Walk over the casino at the Marriott, don't expect too much there. It is kind of low rate and tacky but fun for an evening out.
The piano bar at Breeze is lots of fun, If things get slow ask to sign New York, New York. There are always New Yorkers there and its funny to see how that livens up the crowd.
Go have fun!

We just go back from Breezes on Thursday March 15/01. The was a great vacation for us. I have done a lot of travelling and wanted a stress free vacaton without crowds and line ups. This place was very clean, food was good, there were lots of things to do if you wanted to. There were no line ups for anything. The beach was clean and we swam in the ocean everyday. We walked up and down the beach and found we made the right choice for property. The Marriott beach was not impressive and crowded and garbage not picked up. There were always chairs, lounges available. We took the bus into town 10 minutes 75 cents. We took a ferry over to paradice island and walked around the Atlantis and saw the aquariums and beach and stuff. Nice place but the hotel far from beach and it was crowded. You never go hungry at Breezes and we ate at the Italian resturant every night which was nice. If you want any more information on this resort let me know. I no complaints about this resort what so ever. Also I did not find it to be a party party place the age mixture was good some young some old and some middle of the road. The staff very friendly as are all the bahama people we encounterd. The bus ride to town and back was interesting you got to see where and how the people live. Downtown was crowded. Good prices on liquor and stuff, we are Canadians. The weather was excellent mid 80's and the water temp. was good for us refreshing and nice when you get out. They have sailing, windsurfing and a big bicyle. The pool areas was great always kept clean and a bar and grill right there plus a swim up bar. Not crowded and clean laid back if you want to do stuff if you want no pressure at all. A recommend this place over the other resorts I saw in Naussa.

We went to Breezes Feb.18-25 for our honeymoon. We loved it!!
The only negative I would say is that being a 4 star the rooms weren't amazing. They were okay, clean enough, but not luxurious.
I found the food excellent, better than some 5 star resorts I have been too. As other people replied it is definitely plentiful, you never go hungry. The salad bar at lunch and dinner is incredible, and very fresh. Lots of different entrees at dinner, fish, steak, roast beef, chicken.
I didn't find it to be too party atmosphere, the disco is open about 10pm every night and there are definitely party things to do, but it is what you choose.
The pool area, and ocean area are beautiful, and the staff were great!
I would definitely go back again, and would recommend it to anyone, 1 week was too short!
The busses are great, don't take a taxi, it will cost $15US, the bus is .75 one way, and it will pick you up and drop you off anywhere you want. The busses are constantly running, you never have to wait!
Nassau is touristy, and expensive, although you get deals on jewellry and liquor!
We also went to Paradise Island on the Ferry it cost $6US, it was fun. We went to Atlantis, and although it is a beautiful resort, and massive, I would never stay there it is too big! It is on the ocean, but the ocean is so far from the resort, it just doesn't feel that you are on the water. Breezes was a lot smaller, which is nice because you can meet people and really enjoy your stay.
Lots to do at the resort, tennis courts, bicycles, trapeze and trampoline clinics, rock climbing wall, plus the daily activities. It is great because depending on what you are looking for it is there.
Hope you find this helpful, have a great time!

Ok, I have to disagree with everyone on this. I stayed at the Breezes in the Bahamas last October 2000, and their water pipes BLEW UP and we didn't have running water for almost 2 days!! That means no shower, toilet or anything. They did try and make up for it by offering a 2 night free stay, but I said no thanks.

The place is ok, average accomidations. our room smelled of mildew, they don't give you shampoo or lotions or anything.

The food tastes the same from the chiken to the pasta, it's all the same. The pool is small~ The entertainment is boring, really stupid stuff.

The only really good thing I would say about the place is that it's a good deal for your money, and the drinks are included!

We went there the first year it opened and we loved it! It's a pretty good value and its close with tons of stuff to do! (PS--the frozen drinks outside are sporting 151 rum) which we didn't know when we first got there---so when we woke up at the pool area it was dark!

I had a blast last summer at Breezes in the Bahamas. There is so many things to do - activities 24/7. Trapeze class was my highlight. The activity coordinators are terrific - loads of fun. I plan on going back next year.

I will say - the rooms were fair. You won't be spending very much time in the room. The food was not bad - After about 5 days it gets boring.

All in all - one of the best vacations I had - nightly entertainment rocked. The bands were great - games were fun.

For the money - you can't find a much better deal - especially if you like to drink.
