Honeymoon Suggestions?

I was interested in going to St. Lucia for a honeymoon at the end of October/early November. However, I am worried about the weather during this time of year and some of the feedback on St. Lucia in previous postings. Does anyone have any knowledge of the weather during that time or any other locale suggestions?

That's Hurricane season...still might affect you in St. Lucia!

Aruba is a great (and popular) honeymoon distination that is south of the hurricane belt, so no worries about the weather.

Thanks for the suggestion, we were in Aruba last year and LOVED it but we were looking to try somewhere new. Sounds like it is not the time for the Caribbean and we need to look elswhere.

Have you been to Curacao? Nice alternative to Aruba but still relatively safe re: hurricanes. A little "less developed" than Aruba.

Your chances of encountering a hurricane while on St. Lucia is quite unlikely, even during hurricane season. Very rarely do they get hit. It is their rainy season (which ends early Dec.) but typically, this consists of 4 or 5-minutes showers a couple times a day followed either by sun or clouds. The south part of the island usually gets more rain than the north. But the rain helps cool you off so it's no big deal.
