Honeymoon - St. Lucia, Martinique, St. Vincent & the Grenadines

My fiance and I are getting married in October 2013 and planning a 10-day honeymoon to the Caribbean. We are looking for recommendations on where to stay and what to do.

Our plan so far is to fly in/out of St. Lucia and stay on the island for 9 nights, with day trips to Martinique and maybe St. Vincent. We love outdoor activities like hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming but we also want to spend time relaxing at the beach/pool. We'd prefer to be somewhere quiet, away from crowds most of the time but we want to check out a few historic sites and restaurants. We do not want an all inclusive resort on St. Lucia -- a cottage, villa, or something similar would be nice.

Do you have recommendations for:
- Best general area to stay in St. Lucia (south, west coast, etc)?
- Recommendations for resorts, hotels, or private rentals?
- Activities to do on the island.
- Best tour or way to get to Martinique, and things to do while there?
- Is St. Vincent worth a visit as well?

Thanks in advance, very excited and appreciative of any tips.

Visiting neighboring Islands is definitely worthwhile. I am still kicking myself we didn't do that on our trip.

Sun Link tours is a good options for things to see and do and visiting Martinique and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

We did the jeep tour and land and sea tour. Good options for seeing most of the Island.

I'm more familiar with AI's, so will let other's chime in on accomendations. However, any hotel you choose will have a tour desk and be able to set up activities and excursions for you.

KVR, thanks for the info! I checked out their website and this looks like an excellent option.
