HONEYMOON HELP!!!!!

We have made up our mind that we are going to the CARIBBEAN!! But...we cannot decide on which island. We will be travelling in June. The most important thing to us is beautiful beaches that we can just lay on all day. Obviously, we would like a place where there a few things to do. But seclusion and beaches are the number one priority. PLEASE POST ANY SUGGESTIONS

Sounds like ANGUILLA is the island for you - 33 beautiful beaches.... And so far it is still fairly quiet and secluded, though unfortunately it is getting busier than it used to be... Still, the beaches are the best I have ever seen, there are some wonderful hotels and excellent restaurants.

I agree about Anguilla -- check out www.news.ai -- the links at the top of the homepage will give you web sites to all the resorts & a tour of the amazing beaches (Check out Frangipani, Serenity Cottages; Rendezvous Bay Hotel for some nice mid-range hotels on amazing beaches. Cap Juluce & CuinArt are the "big bucks" properties that are also on great beaches. If you want seclusion, we go to different beaches every day on the island &, most of the time, we are ALONE.

I would also agree that Anguilla would be the perfect place for your June honeymoon. Anguilla has been known to host a number of movie stars who like to feel secluded. I remember my first visit to this lovely island. In Feb., high season, all rooms booked solid and we were the only couple on a fantastic beach that we found. Ahhh, now this is romantic.

Hello and congratulations! I am a recent newlywed myself, got married last June... I am girl with expensive taste and we picked Aruba as our honeymoon destination, since we've done Europe. So, go to Aruba! The best beaches I have ever been to, and I've been to a lot of great places. Trust me! Stay at the Hyatt. The best. We were at Wyndham, also very awesome. Both are walking distance away from one another. Great all inclusive package at Wyndham, great restaurants there, but also the island has great restaurants anyway - like you HAVE TO go to El Gaucho, make reservations now, on-line. Best steakhouse ever. Also, go to Texas de Brazil. Wow, you'll die... it's so good. And shopping is good too, I bought my new Gucci from there... it's a great honeymoon destination, very clean, beautiful and safe.

Anguilla, except it's perfectly flat, and not the least bit pretty EXCEPT for the beaches, and another Caribbean Island where most locals live in poverty.
St. Barts. MUCH more beautiful, sexy, gorgeous views, French ambiance, great dining, no large hotels, topfree or clothing optional beaches where no one gawks. Why go to another Caribbean Island when you can visit the S. of France?

Another good choice for mostly lying around on gorgeous beaches is St. John, USVI.
