Holiday vacation over Christmas and New Years

Any idea for a couple celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary and want sun, fun and fishing in the itinerary. The perfect setting would be beachfront with a boat that either we rent or comes with the rental home. I am just so confused about what island to visit during this time with factors of weather and water temp. on my mind.

you could look in the bahamas. many of the villas come with a small boat or are near marina where you can arrange weekly rental to take home with you. as well it's my understanding that navigating is not difficult. the bahamas will not be as warm as most of the caribbean at that time of year though.
one of the resorts on virgin gorda in bvi gives you a boat with your room - biras creek.
on provo in t&c there is a group of houses on ocean point on the south side of the island that come with large docks - www.oceanpointvillas.net ,as well as most of the houses in the 'leeward' neighborhood some of which can be found on vrbo.

St Croix is awesome! It is my personal favorite of all the USVI's. A lot less people....just a perfectly laid back island atmosphere. There is great snorklingand scuba diving as well. St John is nice as well, I did not appreciate St Thomas at all! Way too crowded and parts were just nasty.
