Christmas is a busy and expensive time in the Carribean. If you want to go you should be buying tickets now.
Would suggest Mexican Carribean
Isla Mujeres (most economical) Cozumel, Playa Del Carmen, Akumel..
We have a 15 page travel document on the area with empasis on Isla Mujeres. Can e-mail if you request.
dan & ginny

I lost my dad 2 Christmases ago, so I empathize with you and think your idea of getting away together is a great one. I have heard that Cap Juluca has a wonderful kids program, as does the Four Seasons in Nevis. Good luck to you.

Cap and Four Seasons are still "out of order" due to hurricane damage. Cap is pushing for a Fall reopening ... but you don't want the "maybe it won't make it" to factor in your plans! But if it is Holiday time, might want to check availability of air first or do a "package" that guarantees air!
