HELP! Surprise 50th, what island!?
My mom is turning 50 in February and our boss is sending her, my aunt, my sister and I on vacation. It's a surprise for the other three and he wants me to plan it but I have NO IDEA what island to go to. It'll be the end of February-first of March. Budget doesn't matter. Give me some fun ideas things to do/see, none of us have been to the Caribbean. Something semi safe, seeing as it's just us girls going.
Any info would be fabulous, thanks

So all you have given us is that you want something "semi safe".
If you want some reasonable suggestions, you need to give more info, as every island in the Caribbean could fit into "semi safe".
How about listing some things you like to do....and maybe include the things that are must haves on your vacation. Your request is just too broad for anyone to give you a decent suggestion.

Great beaches (white, not rocky)
Crystal clear water - not like Cabo/Mexico water.
Spa
We could all sit on the beach all day and be content.
But maybe some fun sight seeing. I don't see any of us snorkeling or diving.
We're not into the partying/drinking/casino/nightlife.
Good restaurants/food.
Overall just good beaches/water to swim in.
Good restaurants/food.
Ziplines, hiking(not extreme), waterfalls, sightseeing. Those aren't a must but we could enjoy them.
We are all really easy going so it doesn't take a lot to please us.

Great restaurants- St Barts. The sightseeing is mainly people watching. ;-)
I'd also say Anguilla, but not much sightseeing as it is a flat scrubby island.
I would throw in Caneel Bay on St John or Little Dix on Virgin Gorda for a bit of everything-spa, beaches, hiking, sightseeing.
Most places with ziplines, waterfalls, etc. will not have white sandy beaches. St John does have one waterfall, if there has been rain.

Sounds like St. Martin would be perfect. There is a great zipline at Loterie Farm, fantastic dining, great beaches, and having just returned from there I can report that there are terrific hotel possibilities with vacancies this year. I would stick to the French side because of the restaurants-- have a look at La Samanna and Radisson Blu, for good beachfront accomodations.
