Help me plan the right island(s)!

My boyfriend & I are planning to go to the Caribbean the last week of June/1st week of July this year.
We need a easy peasy disconnect getaway that we can feel like we really got away. Caribbean islands are the 1st choice. Coming from San Diego. Thoughts on which would be the best to visit based on our criteria: We love turquoise water; not divers; we are foodies; no "camping"; maybe a fabulous B&B; no hustle bustle; no jungle hiking, but we'd love to be beachfront & no car rental. (love to walk or bicycle ride). We have only been to StMaarten/St.Martin. Thanks for your ideas

For islands with bright turquoise waters and no "jungles", check out the following:

Grace Bay on Providenciales (Turks & Caicos) - 11 miles of brilliant white sand beach and a variety of good restaurants.

Anguilla - 35 spectacular white sand beaches, bright blue waters and over 80 restaurants.

St. Barths, hilly but somewhat arid island so no jungles. Very good golden sand beaches and some of the finest restaurants in the Caribbean. Think "Paris of the Caribbean".

My favorite is Negril Jamaica.

(but honestly now that I live on the west coast US, I go to Mexico or Hawaii more often than the Caribbean.)

Yes, I have also heard about the Grand Cayman. After seeing the images of the beach I feel like visiting there once.

By the way, GC has some of the best restaurants in the Caribbean. They are expensive, but oh so good!!
