I have no idea what some of these messages are about. My husband and I have traveled to many different places but we can't have the fun at any of them that we can have at Hedo. That is because it is an ADULT vacation mostly for couples who are in love and just want to "spice up" their relationship with each other, have a lot of ADULT fun and games, and meet wonderful people that will be friends forever. There are some swingers there, but the majority of people there are not on drugs, and not into the swinging scene. I don't even know why the place gets the reputation of being for swingers. They are certainly in the minority there. There is a prude side and a nude side as well, as there are at most of the resorts in Jamaica. Everyone has meals in the same area, but all are dressed at this time, even though you may see some outfits that you don't see when you go out in the states. There is a PJ party night, but it doesn't begin until 11:00 P.M. There are some pretty wild outfits there, but if it's too much for you, you don't have to go to it. Then there is Toga night, which is held in the main dining room where everyone tries to come up with an attractive toga - some are more skimpy than others. If these types of adult parties bother anyone, then they probably shouldn't be there in the first place. The way I see it - All other resorts have the same look and feel, but Hedo is for adults with an open mind who want to have a lot of fun and laughs and craziness with other like-minded people, and you can do all of that without any drugs or swinging.

Thank you Jenny. Very well put. Thta's exactly it. Don't listen to people that have not been there but heard about it. Remember by the time some people get home the stories have a tendency to change, grow, and have only a tint of truth in them. Add some alcohol to it and he/she will tell you about all the orgies that are going on there. NOT! <BR>Celebrate your partner in an open minden, fun and loving atmosphere and meet the greatest people ever - that's hedo for you.

My husband and I booked a Superclubs surprise package. What this means is you get a discount rate but you can be placed at a Breezes, Grand Lido or Hedonism in Jamaica. We did a lot of homework before booking this vacation and were pleasantly surprised to find out that Hedo was not a sex crazed, swinging resort where only the Playboy bunnies and the dirty old men go. No offense to Playboy we do receive their magazine. It was the first place we saw Hedo and were turned off by the article. Thank God for DennyP.com We found out what Hedo is really all about. <BR> <BR>We were fortunate enough to end up at Hedonism II where we met some of the most beautiful people in the world. I do not mean only external beauty but internal beauty too. We decided on our first day to go to the nude beach and if we did not like it we could go back to the prude side. Within moments, we struck up conversation with the couple next to us. We were not asked to swap partners but we were asked to join them at dinner with some people that they had met. Everyday this group grew larger. Everyone was very much into their own partner at bedtime but during the time that we all spent together it was just like going out to dinner with friends at home or to the local pool. When it was time to go back to our rooms, everyone went to their own room with their significant other that they came to the resort with. My husband and I found the place to be very romantic and sensual but that was between us and in private. Will you see open sex at Hedo? You might. Is it one big swapping orgy? Absolutely not. It is a great party place that has something to do somewhere twenty four hours a day. Unlike the resort that we went to last year in the Riviera Maya. After dinner, everyone went to the evening entertainment show and then went to bed by 10pm. This is not a vacation to me. I want to be able to party and have conversations of substance with fun but educated people. I want to have choices also. At Hedo there are many things to do in the day and night. Daytime activities are the same as many other resorts. There are many adult oriented games but this is an adult resort and that is why we go there. I do not want to listen to children screaming and crying on the beach while I am trying to relax and get some sun. I do not want young teenagers frolicking and being stupid in the pool while I am trying to talk with some friends. I want to be able to relax and have a good time. This is the same reason that people get a baby sitter so they can go out to dinner and a movie or to the club with adult friends. In conclusion, I loved Hedonism and will be a repeat client. I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a fun vacation with some of the best people you will ever met and not sleep with.

Hedonism is nothing but one big sex romp. People walk around naked--all day--everywhere. The copulate while they eat and frequently urinate in the pools and hot tubs. There are 10 times as many men there as women and they are all swingers who have sex at least fifteen times a day with a different woman each time. The staff consists entirely of dark skinned and well muscled men, who, through the course of a week, will have sex with your wife at least twenty-five times. STD protection is only used half of the time, but even at that, there are used condoms lying all over the resort. I even found a diaphragm in my soup at dinner but couldn't get it out of the bowl--the table was shaking violently with the motion of the eight woman orgy (all playboy bunnies) that was taking place on our table top. <BR> <BR>

I agree. People want to celebrate "anyhitng goes sex" like its some kind of diversity acceptance gig <BR>when its really just a bunch of weirdos. <BR>As Dr Laura says, Diversity used to be all about accepting people from different cultural backgrounds: Italian, African, Irish, Jewish, Palestian, Russian, etc. Now, Diversity is supposed to be about lowering ones moral standards and accepting anything that anybody wants to do. If you do it, it is Diversity and it should be accepted. Bunk to that. Why do you think half the people in the US thought Clintons behavior was OK. It was a "hey, its his life" kind of thing. The DIversity crowd has a become a group of people with no moral compass. And people wonder why there are school shootings!

I agree, this is an average property to anyone who has any travel experience, and knows the difference between McD's and a fine Paris restaurant. Some of the guests think that a nineteen dollar Mr. Coffee in a room and a piece of jerk chicken are anemnities found only in the finest Parisian hotels. It is by no stretch of the imagination above average. I too, would venture to say that if it wasn't for the nudity and probably even more for the "freedom" to play out whatever your kink is, that many of these repeat guests would go somewhere else. Many of them would camp out on the raft just to be there. In his quest to find even more examples of world dysfuntionality, Jerry Springer has even found this tropical "paradise."

It sickens me to read the negativity on this thread about HEDO II. IT IS NOT A FREE FOR ALL ORGY. My wife and I spent 10 nights there, had a great time. At no time were we forced to do something we did not want to do. YES, there are people having sex at the resort. This is a place where a couple can re-kindle the romance in their life. We felt totally comfortable at HEDO II. In contrast, when we spent one night at Sandals, MoBay, we felt very uncomfortable around the staff. Go, enjoy, and have alot of fun.

You know, Anonymous, in most web forums nowadays you would not be allowed to post. How easy it is to insult and berate people when you have no identity and no email address. You shoot your mouth off and are untraceable. <BR> <BR>I never could have imagined that my enjoyment of nudity and some limited open sexuality was responsible for school shootings! <BR> <BR>Your behavior on this forum and your hiding behind anonymity and no e-mail address are a fine example of immorality. Why don't you put your real self on the line here. My moral compass is just fine, thank you, but yours could use swinging (pun intended, but you won't get it if you're not a boater). <BR>

This is for MmRibs. I saw your posting at www.dennyp.com under Hedonism III. I can't believe you have such a nerve asking what Hedo III is like and what kind of people (ages) there are since you and your *gasp* 18 years old girlfriend might end up there AFTER you posted such a mean message above about Hedo II. That shows YOU HAD NEVER BEEN TO HEDO II BEFORE!! "...diaphragm in my soup at dinner but couldn't get it out of the soup" "Playboy bunnies" <BR>"The staff consists entirely of dark <BR>skinned and well muscled men, who, through the course of a week, will have sex with your wife at least twenty-five times." "One big sex romp" Why do you say such things when you have never been there before? Why do you lie? <BR> <BR>Respect! <BR>

Regarding swingers going to Hedo.. something to think about...they also belong to your PTA and they shop at your grocery store. They have kids, homes, and mortgages <BR> <BR>Your next door neighbors...the ones little Billy slept over last weekend with his little friend Johnnie...they might be vacation-nudists. <BR> <BR>My point is that all of the types of people that you associate with on a daily basis are the types that go to Hedo. <BR> <BR>We've personaly met doctors, lawyers, police officers, FBI agents, truck drivers, corporate CEOs and CFOs, a couple who were 5th and 7th grade teachers, a Burger King trainer...some just don't tell you, some actualy lie and tell you that they went someplace else. <BR> <BR>You CAN enjoy Hedo and still be mainstream...most are.

This is the most incredible collection of Bullshit that I have ever seen. I think the people who are putting down that it is full of swinging men, and constant orgies are just posting their own wishes and fantasies. All dark skinned men with muscles??? That cracks me up. Imoral people without standards??? Where do these morons that write this crap come from? Get a grip, and get realistic, and quit dreaming and fantasizing. That isn't what it is about, or what goes on there. If you are too judgemental without ever actually being there, I am glad you don't want to go, because when my wife of 15 years, and I, who aren't swingers, orgy participaters, or drug addicts go there, we want to meet real people without hang ups, or are closed minded morons.

Jeebus people, I was being sarcastic. I thought that was pretty obvious; I guess with the amount of ridiculous Hedo flaming that goes on here it blended in. I can't believe some people took it seriously. <BR>Diaphragm in my soup? Sheesh. <BR> <BR> <BR>

Oh and Maggie--I never was at DennyP asking what ages of people went there. You seem to be pretty bad at reading posts. I simply stated our ages--so that others going would have an idea of what general age group goes. <BR> <BR>Respect

Average property at best. As far as the activities, it has the usual that you would expect at a Caribbean resort, however the real draw appears to be the ability to act out whatever your "kink" is. A visit to some other sites and the various message boards should give one an idea of the interests and intellectual capacity of the guests. A casual reading should indicate that it is different than Sans Souci, Sandals, or other all inclusives.

Kink is the right word to describe HEDO.
