Yeah I went and visited John Lennon a couple of times last month. El Biky is quite good wouldn’t you say?
Rome is a confusing city to walk around but remarkable.
How do you feel about leaving Havana? What is the word in the street?

A few people I have spoken with are deeply concerned about the future of their country and their families. Some had no idea what is going on. Most however have the attitude of why worry about what you can't control. As for me personally, I had a great trip but regret coming here. My family haa been worrying non stop about me and they are very relieved that I am coming home soon. I was originally planning on Guadalajara Mexico and in retrospect, should have gone there instead.

From a recent conversation with someone in Havana, the electricity for non-essential places is pretty much the same as other cities in Cuba now. Life goes on though and folks are making the best of it. I hope there be light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks for the fotos Simon. I went past the BoNS in old Havana and snapped a foto or two. I probably have some fotos of years past of it as well. There is a similar looking bank in Santiago. I think it is RBC.
Had some freshies as well at the National hotel in January. They would not take CUP at first but I persisted.
