Grenada Water Drinking Safety
Hello everyone -
Wondering if anyone could vouch for the water quality in Grenada - to drink, not to swim. A few friends of mine have gotten really sick off the ice in mixed drinks in various countries. However, not being able to have an iced rum drink while we are on honeymoon would be pretty lame. Anyone have any experience with Grenada?

Likewise when I visited Grenada we had no problems at all with drinking water. My wife has to be very careful when we travel as she is subsceptible to tummy infections but even she had no problems so from my experience the advice would be not to worry.

After Hurricane Ivan, the water system was one of the first things to be put back into operation. Most of St. George's, Grand Anse, Morne Rouge, Lance Aux Epines, and St. David's have been restored to good drinking water. Even farther north in St. Andrews, St. Patricks and St. Marks have received partial restoration as well.
